Stopped by Bangs Salon in Richmond Hts. this morning to meet and hear Senator Sherrod Brown address the employees of this wonderful local business and salute them for the dignity of the work that they perform. Sherrod and I are both counting on your support this coming Tuesday!
Pleased to be able to attend the annual Lake County Council on Aging awards luncheon and to present a commendation to Donna McNamee. Donna was the recipient of the Ruth Densmore Senior Advocate Award that recognizes a person that has demonstrated a passion for service to seniors.
Excited to work in a bipartisan effort with Speaker Pro Tempore Scott Oelslager (R-North Canton) to reauthorize an important and proven program that has benefitted our entire state. 🧵
No tax increase is involved here, as the repayment of the bonds issued will come out of existing state revenues. Since 1987, 19,000 grants and loans have been distributed for critical infrastructure benefiting all of Ohio's 88 counties.
Had a fantastic day of canvassing in Richmond Heights! Thank you to all of our elected officials, local leaders, and, most importantly, volunteers who came out to canvass for our Democratic candidates. Our team knocked over 500 doors in just one afternoon.
Glad to address the Fine Arts Association Board of Directors to be able to present a symbolic check for the $500K to Board Chair Eric Barbe that I was able to secure in the Capital Budget bill. This will help begin the much needed Corning Auditorium Stage and Lobby Modernization
Pleased to announce $4.4 M+ in funding for brownfield remediation and demolition in my district. I strongly advocated for the addition of $500 M in brownfield remediation and demolition funds to the operating budget, which had no appropriation for this when it was introduced.
Our season has been over for 3 months. 10 grads are on their way to colleges, trade schools and new teams. Our underclassmen have played full travel seasons, yet we are still being honored 4 our accomplishments. Thank you to @Rep_Troy@WESchools@northrangers@NorthNews123
Alex Moormann moderated a panel discussion at the County Auditors Association Summer Conference. Thank you Reps.@Rep_Troy and DJ Swearingen for participating.
The OEC Action Fund is proud to endorse Rep. Dan Troy for re-election in Ohio House District 23. @rep_troy has been an outstanding climate advocate in the Statehouse and will continue to protect the environment for all who call Ohio home!
