@CoachMarcusHill I see a baserunner out for staying in fair territory after the bag, turned towards second to throw him out of the way and getting tagged in the process.
@JagerHokie Not just concerts. It could be used for conventions, sales shows (like RV, Crafts, Sports Memoribilia), hockey, wrestling events, ice shows, circuses, comedian shows etc
@JagerHokie Unfortunately agree. I love Cassell but having a new facility would allow for year round events that can generate a significant amount of revenue.
@JagerHokie No. The original renovation approved amount was $75M and that was shelved 5 years ago. Recent estimates were projected at $125-150M because of material cost increases. It actually can be a huge cost to modify rather than build new, especially when structural changes are needed
@AnimatedHokie Seems like a way to piss off 45% of the population and possibly a higher percentage of potential clients with mixed politics couples thrown in. Weird way to do business but all it does is cost her money so to each their own.
@hoothru@HokiesbyaMilly Your post doesnt intimate anything about Maryland being soft. If we are honest, Maryland is soft but that is not the reason for the change so any #Hokies claiming it are wrong all the way through.
@hoothru@HokiesbyaMilly You clearly havent been paying attention to the money if you really think an additional home game wont offset $100K. Maybe UVA with your poor attendance its an issue but 60K packed into Lane stadium for a home game definitely offsets $100K the year following. Its not a gamble.
@ChadWillis@HokiesBaseball As long as we keep the Colangelo Five on track for 2027 that goes a long way to raising our ceiling. All five are in the Top 10 Virginia prospects in 2027. #1, #4,#5,#6,#7. Have to build around Ethan Ball.
@realJohnBarryD@changeservant She put in one of her biggest donors, the president of Dominion Energy. That said, Ed Baine has also done alot of good for Virginia Tech over the years while serving so the pick could have been alot worse.
