@CWilson2197 The reason why the Holdo Maneuver makes no sense is because prior to Disney, hyperspace jumps made your ship incredibly fragile. It made your ship nearly massless and so colliding with ANYTHING would destroy you. But Disney wanted a cool scene and didn't think of the consequences
