@Flyhigher67 I am a huge Illinois fan and a lot of his highlights were when they were winning. He seems like a different player when they are down late. There were a few good moments but also alot of turnovers and bad shot choices. Probably due to being young but also can be a bit clunky
@ErikLambert1 I think they may not be crazy about Boozer. There were rumors that they were gauging interest in 4 to trade back a spot. Sounds like if Boozer is there they may prefer to take Wagler.
@AdamHoge The NW suburbs lose out on yet another opportunity from the IL. The 53 expansion to make people’s lives easier, the AH stadium opportunity, etc., while residents north of the city pay an overwhelming majority of IL taxes and make up the largest % of season ticket holders.
@AdamHoge The total collective of taxes from events in a new stadium dwarfs the estimated costs to build the stadium and in reality the taxes generated from the events pay the estimated needed monies. Cook county really loses out overall
@AdamHoge Plus the players alone pay close to $15mil per year in taxes. That doesn’t include execs, the property they own, the income tax of employees at the new stadium, the taxes on what the construction workers and material would generate. Plus concessions, hotels, restaurants.
@AdamHoge $1bil state dollars to finance a stadium means 50mil per year over 20 years financed by bonds that pay back interest 20-40 years from now when those same dollars aren’t worth what they are today plus interest. The county/state would generate close to $1mil per sold out event
@Peter_Bukowski@thekapman Parsons and Kraft are coming back from severe injuries. Only 28.5% of NFL players are still playing 3 years after a severe injury. 63% to 95% based on position have a significant decline in performance in their 1st year back.
@Peter_Bukowski@thekapman Byard had a tremendous turnover season but his lack of speed and in some cases just poor angles resulted in some pretty big plays. Anyone that watched Bears, especially in the playoffs recognized that they were slow
@Peter_Bukowski Nashon Wright was playing due to the Jaylon Johnson injury. So his replacement will be Jaylon Johnson. The DJ Moore replacement may not be on the roster yet. I am pretty sure the starting center will be Logan Jones.
@sportsmockery Gilmore needs honorable mention for Hawks. Cubs: Lester and Dawson Bears Thomas Jones, Peppers, Akeem Hicks. Sox: Tim Raines Bulls: Rodman, Ron Harper, Boozer. I would have to go with Andre Dawson at the end of the day
