@ruthpozuelo @kimmanis @Kjonge @hm_vocal @MSPowerBI Tested on Firefox, Chrome and Edge on Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Win 64 NL and both pbix and pbix can be started from the url with Power BI Desktop data update from the url as well. Maybe a security setting on your or customer PCs ... let’s wait what Microsoft @MSPowerBI will advice

@ruthpozuelo @kimmanis @Kjonge @hm_vocal @MSPowerBI Just load your original PBIX file in the latest Mach 2018 Release and save it as PBIT template and it should be working. Maybe Microsoft @MSPowerBI can confirm that with every new Power BI Desktop monthly update the PBIX and PBIT file should be saved again in the latest build.
