#Russians that occupied Ukrainian land in the South of the country blew #Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant on the Dniepro river. #Dam has sunken, water is flooding settlements of the Kherson region controlled by #Ukraine. Water may also reach #Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.

⚡️The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine increased the tariff for electricity for the population to 2.64 hryvnias/kWh (about $0.07). It will be effective from June 1.

This was announced by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko at a briefing after the government meeting.

Currently, the tariff for the population is UAH 1.42/kWh with a consumption of 250 kWh per month and UAH 1.68/kWh if the consumption exceeds this figure.
