Today was my last day at the Northumberland Gazette.
Thank you so much to my wonderful colleagues and the countless people I have spoken to for a story over nearly 2 years.
I knew nothing about this part of the world when I moved here, but I've come to love the North East!
This was a great place to start my career and I have had loads of brilliant experiences in my time at the Gazette and the other Northumberland weekly papers.

Lib Dems are relatively happy with how they have done. Green activists think they might outperform the exit poll.
Neither party are likely to win a seat in Northumberland, but they feel their local campaigns went ok.
Labour figures here in Blyth are pleased - they are expecting a good night.
Conservatives less so, but fairly sanguine about it all. They saw the heavy losses coming and blame the national picture, rather than their record locally in Northumberland.
