Nice (re)connecting with colleagues at the UWI's Forum on Domestic Violence. I have been reflecting on concepts, stakeholder mapping and strategies that promote Family & Domestic Violence Leave in the public and private sectors and ensuring schools are GBV-free institutions.
On the penultimate day of #16DaysofActivism we are reminded of the core motivations for our work: raising awareness and representation, stimulating activism and, ultimately change. We wish to inspire this generation of cycle-breakers to put an end to GBV.
As we build out our own resources for GBV education and prevention, we are inspired by other organisations doing crucial work and raising awareness around topics that we may not always consider.
