Breaking News:
Plastic has officially applied for permanent residency in Anantnag.
This is the road to Kokernag.
We market Kashmir as paradise. Plastic seems to have bought a season pass.
Time for better waste management, segregation, and accountability.

Surround yourself with people who genuinely value, respect, and appreciate your presence.
Being celebrated means your contributions are recognised, your efforts are appreciated, and your presence brings happiness to others. In such an environment, people encourage your growth, defend your honour, and want the best for you.
Ibn ʿAbbās said,
“I owe three rights to the one who sits with me:
- that I turn my attention towards him when he comes,
- that I make room for him when he sits,
- and that I listen attentively when he speaks.
They Taught you How to Worry!
There was a time when you didn't worry about rizq at all. No job, no money, no plan - and yet you were fed, sheltered, and sustained without lifting a finger. That time was before you were even born.
Makḥūl reminds us of something we've simply forgotten: the same Allah who provided for you in your mother's womb, when you couldn't ask for anything, is still providing for you now.
The only thing that's changed is that you learned how to worry.
ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb said:
“Indeed, we were a people in a state of humiliation, and Allah honoured us through Islam. So whenever we seek honour through anything other than that by which Allah honoured us, Allah will humiliate us.”
- al-Mustadrak ʿalā al-Ṣaḥīḥayn, no. 207.
In your Dua, When asking Allah for;
Knowledge
Marriage
Money
Job
Children
etc
always ask that it be granted in well-being, because you do not know what might happen to you. Perhaps you may only attain something through illness that weakens you. Perhaps you may only receive something after losing your children and family, leaving you isolated in your home. Perhaps you may only obtain something through exile, a situation you cannot bear nor choose.
For generations, the Arabs have passed these words down from their forefathers. They are often quoted, widely admired, and rarely acted upon.
قال العرب:
Four things break brothers apart: wealth, women, jealousy, and death.
اربع تسقط هيبة المرء بين الناس:
Four things make people lose respect for you: talking too much, laughing too much, lying, and gossiping.
اربع تخرب بيت المرأة:
Four things destroy a wife’s home: stubbornness, anger, suspicion, and raising her voice.
اربع تخرب بيت الرجل:
Four things destroy a man’s home: distance, neglect, harshness, and stinginess.
Many know these words. Few truly apply them.
Your smile is being recorded
In an age where many enjoy using the smiling emoji to mock their brothers and sisters, you should understand your smile is being recorded.
Ibn Abī al-Dunyā, narrated in, The Condemnation of Backbiting, and Ibn Abī Ḥātim narrated from Ibn Abbās regarding the statement of Allah:
مَالِ هَـٰذَا ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَا يُغَادِرُ صَغِيرَةًۭ وَلَا كَبِيرَةً إِلَّآ أَحْصَىٰهَا
“What is with this Book?! It leaves neither a minor sin nor a major sin except that it has recorded it.” (Sura al-Kahf 18:49)
Ibn Abbās said: “The minor sin is smiling when a believer is mocked, and the major sin is laughing aloud at them.”
