The implication of the 25th talk is that Congress has no actual power. They’ve gleefully given it up over the past 30 years in favor of more and more executive power. And now here we are.

A strong independent Congress is necessary for a functioning USA… and we don’t have one.

@Davidrios @TweetingGaruga Violet has grown on me after I hated it at first. The progression is not great, the story is boring, and the gameplay sometimes clunky. The cities are empty, which is weird after Sword and Shield felt full and lively.

But it gets better as you go and the end game is challenging

This is really the failure of the Obama presidency. It was really just a total gut check where we all collectively learned about how broken Congress was.

Trump learned the lesson that Congress was feckless and could bully the entire branch into submission.

Something that breaks my heart as a Millennial is how fucking optimistic and fun our teenage years and 20s were. Like we envisioned a TOTALLY different world from the one that we've got and insanely divorced from what Gen-Z are experiencing. It's hard to put in words how fantastic we thought life was gonna be and how it seemed like we were making tangible social progress. We've had all of that ripped away from us
