My phone has been on fire today as I reconnected with many of the men I was incarcerated with after January 6. And I'm now prepared to unveil a project that has been simmering in my head some time.

For 3 years after January 6, as I and other J6 political prisoners languished away inside the DC Gulag, history was being made. But not all of this history was being witnessed. Not all of this was the 'history' the average American heard on the news or in government committee hearings. In fact, most of it went unreported. Out of sight, out of mind.

While I've been a satirist my entire adult life, I was also an academic. I have studied antiquity, theology, ecology, and so on. In college I majored in social science, with an emphasis on history. While incarcerated, my compulsions as a bibliophile led me to save as much documentation as possible, and to internalize whatever I couldn't record.

I have been working on a timeline of my time inside the DC Gulag, but after already assembling 200+ pages of documents and records, I realized that a timeline isn't good enough. Then I remembered something from my time in captivity.

While in the DC Gulag, Garrett Miller allowed me to borrow Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's *The Gulag Archipelago* and Jose Padilla also allowed me to borrow the first volume of Edward Gibbon's *The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire*, to refamiliarize myself with these classics before I went to the Bureau of Prisons.

After talking on the phone with old friends from the Gulag, now that my felony conviction has been vacated and my supervised release is over, I am now revealing the final evolution of my timeline project: A full multi-volume history series chronicling the past 4 years of captivity.

What began as a January 6 pet project will now be the sword that pierces the shield of lies and disinformation that the DOJ, members of Congress, and the corporate media have hidden behind as they imprisoned, condemned, and slandered us. This series will cite primary sources as a true scholarly work and will correct the record that's been corrupted.

History will be written by the defendants, not the prosecutors.
