Why is it so hard for people to comprehend what ICE and CBP are doing? Why DHS, FBI, etc are there to support them? I truly do not grasp what the fight against them really is.
ICE: Immigration and Customs Enforcement. They deal with Immigration issues of ANY kind, and they also enforce Customs issues. If someone who is an immigrant does something unlawful according to the laws of this nation, it is their job to investigate the issue and handle it as needed. This also applies to any Customs law violations, most especially when carried out by the immigrant community, though not SOLELY when immigrants are involved. The inhabitants of the United States of America also import things (and people), requiring Customs clearance and compliance. Failure or refusal is not optional.
CBP: Customs and Border Patrol. Again, Customs. Not optional. They work hand in hand with ICE as they normally would. The reason they are so far from the Border part of their jobs is because the Immigration and Customs issues are so egregious that ICE doesn't have enough people to handle all the investigations and re-aquisitions of the people involved. Since we have the military handling so much of the border crisis at the moment FORCING the immigrants into the proper ports of entry, we don't need so many Border Patrol agents, so many of them have been granted temporary positions to work hand in hand with ICE to clean up the Immigration and Customs issues inside the country, dismantle the organized crime, drug/human/sex trafficking rings, etc, since many of them are headed or handled by immigrants, illegally present or not.
As for DHS, FBI, and others being involved, look at the complications of handling multi-state or multi-national crime rings, unlawful judicial interference in the handling of criminal cases, or the level of corruption that has been exposed so far. And this is only the tip of the iceberg. There is implication of everyone from local coroners all the way to international seats of power involved in this. What makes them involved? Anyone who could reasonably have known or derived that something was wrong and refused to take action, regardless of why, is guilty. Most especially when they were brought irrefutable evidence and they STILL wouldn't address it. They are now as complicit as if they had committed the crime themselves.
That's what's going on AND why.
No one is going to stop the efforts going on to clean up this country. No honorable, red-blooded American would even try.
Or those fool enough to support anything not supported in the Bible. God didn't mince words in what was acceptable and what was not. People's refusal to abide by those words is their own problem. They can repent and walk away (permanently) from those sins and be forgiven. Going back to it has the same effect as not repenting at all.
@KristanHawkins Too bad the parents don't suffer the same as the pain they cause their babies when they abort them. That goes for both, not just one of them.
@ThisopinionA@lanceedge1@ThatCheerMomOfX We actually could win it if we took control and stopped throwing our hands up in the air with the attitude that there's nothing we can do. That attitude is precisely what landed us where we are right now.
This day and age, men are the ultimate enemy, apparently. That's precisely the theme in all of these threads. The man is always to blame for absolutely everything, no matter who is actually at fault or otherwise contributed. At no point should the woman accept any trace of responsibility for any action she initiates or takes part in. Hence why what few women deign the existence of men can't find a decent one, and why such a high percentage of men report being quite happily single and not looking. Now we know why.
@ThisopinionA@lanceedge1@ThatCheerMomOfX This I understand. The question is what or how to get to the end of why these kids are going through what they're going through. Part of it actually is their schools. That's part of it. So are the other people in their lives. Anyone who is in a position of authority.
Sadly, you have to realize that people are raised these days that they can do whatever they want without paying the price for anything. That's exactly what you see happening here. The difference is that in order to get away with it, they just take a pill or whatever and repeat...over and over again. I sincerely hope God has more mercy on them than I would. I believe the parents should meet the same end as the kid they didn't want. The same should go, in exquisite detail, for those who choose to abuse or abandon their kids.
@Sassafrass_84@CindyRules They should be subject to the same penalties as those they previously released, right along with the idiot they released. Let them be their idol's next victim.
The same can be said of women. How many men are sitting in prison where the woman changed her mind after the fact? It's gotten to the point where attempting to date anymore isn't even remotely worth it given the slander and chance of prison time. That which was meant to be a companion to men is slowly becoming the single greatest enemy thereof.
@ThisopinionA@lanceedge1@ThatCheerMomOfX That's not actually an option. Not wanting a child doesn't unmake them because they have shitty, irresponsible parents. They wanted to do what created them, which is automatic and unwavering consent to what comes as a result. An act can not be separated from its consequences.
@lanceedge1@ThatCheerMomOfX Still not our right to terminate. Many such children have gone on to lead normal and productive lives. Who are we to take that away from them?
@durrell_ja7818@SCarwile12626@ThatCheerMomOfX Defending oneself is the very essence of life itself. Since a child is incapable of asserting such force, we have no right to take their life. They're incapable of threatening ours in any meaningful way.
