@RangoTheMerc The Hel one? That one was interesting. Last few books have been pretty bad storywise and the meta's been awful. Gullveig started it with multiple movements and Nidhoggr made it infuriating with nutty damage reduction. Latest enemies just make the game feel bad to play.

@RangoTheMerc The story and characters in this one are bad, along with the new skills introduced. It started with book 7 and have only become more aggravating.

@yuri_yurin_ Those enemies with no clear identities or personality already have more character then Nidhoggr, Gullveig, and new snake lady lol. But I can see how those enemies and snake ladies are already pushing it.

@yuri_yurin_ if they wanted snake ladies, they could have just made the lamia enemies from Sacred Stones

@yuri_yurin_ Even brave Felix was nutty, but he's even pretty useless now with his extra actions unless he picks off the nonboss enemies. It's just bad. Endless actions, instant specials, and no damage unless you have the latest feh oc is hell.

@yuri_yurin_ Fimbulvetr is straight up goonerbait with 0 personality and they don't even hide it with story bs. Nidhoggr and her new years alt was more than enough annoying snake lady after Gullveig was the original annoying snake lady + her alts.

@yuri_yurin_ the galeforce skill itself should have remained a skill slot and not baked in for characters

@yuri_yurin_ Hel was also hard, but she felt like a fair challenge. Gullveig galeplopping across the screen with her extra damage in her little fire trail sucked big. Like hello extra 7 damage at the beginning of the round. Hope you can survive it again.

@yuri_yurin_ I see the same type of thing with new snake lady and Fimbulvetr. Gooner bait to have players thirsty for more of these meh alts on future banners.

@yuri_yurin_ Goat lady was also bad healing every bit of damage you did to deer man at the beginning of the round sucked big.

@yuri_yurin_ Can I also just say Gullveig's art was bad. Her hands are so wonky I can't even see past it.

@yuri_yurin_ They did have some bosses with seals or skills to make them unbeatable until the end of the book and made it survive until the end. I remember Surtr I think as one. It was hard to get through that one at the time. It made the boss a little more threatening at that point.

@charmwitch I absolutely dislike this new oc. Her overworld sprite is ugly and it's yet another feh oc that just says no to damage in the game.

@yuri_yurin_ They really messed up with that whole book. My main point was that they had Gullveig with some mildly dumb and rather frustrating mechanics, but she was in the realm of beating with characters with builds that weren't too broken. But 3 characters as one: big dumb.

@yuri_yurin_ The story was trash for Golden Seer, but the fact that game mechanic wise she was unbeatable until the end and made them have to do story stuff to beat her was better than hey let's have the 10th alt for this oc to beat this oc's unbeatable skill. The love child stuff was weird.
