@stablekwon@WestieCapital Suggestion:
One tranche of airdrops for those who held Luna pre-attack and during the attack.
Of the group that held Luna pre-attack, another tranche of airdrops for those who kept their Luna post-attack.
Nothing for speculators who just bought Luna at a fraction of a cent.
@AYoonity Was there a contract? If so, did it call for payment in $X (payable in UST or USDT), or did it call for payment in X units of UST/USDT? If the former, they could probably sue. I know of some attorneys who'd be happy to take that on a contingency basis.
@jwang815@alice_finance Why is the total paid about 5 dillars than the after-tax total? Does Alice charge a 5 dollar fee per transaction to you? Or was that your tip?
@BlurCrypto 401k and IRAs are not a scam, but there are lots of grifters in the field. You can still daytrade stocks/options in a Roth IRA, and all your gains are tax free. But companies try to sell managed funds that charge a hefty fee and don't beat the market.
@CristianoUst @tburgos71 @kinetic_money For those on the sidelines, I can confirm through personal experience that this is just a UI bug, and that changing to the phase page and back fixes it.
To anyone hiring a lawyer in the crypto space: please demand that your lawyer be doxxed, and then check their credentials. For US lawyers, you can look up their state bar registration.
๐งตLexDAO has become aware of an individual, @ASosagui, who has held themselves out as a lawyer to the crypto space and engaged in what appears to be legal services without actually being a licensed attorney in the relevant state. /1
Some sleuth work on a researcher in the space @kamikaz_ETH . Over the past months he has been publishing threads and tweeting a ticker up to as many as 15 times with in 24 hours of selling.
@chaserchapman Game theory isn't forcing humans to act like machines. It's assuming that humans act selfishly, which tends to be more accurate than assuming they act chaotically.
@PoGoFrankR@CryptomaniakP@AgilePatryk He kindly made his spreadsheet accessible to everyone. So you can always just replace the numbers with whatever you think is correct. (it wasn't clear what numbers you thought are wrong.)
@statusquont@RyanBerckmans And since the ppl engaged in this discussion seem to literally not know what defi is, the BTC-ETH LP is just an example. There are obviously other BTC pairs.
@statusquont@RyanBerckmans Farming BTC-ETH LP's, lending BTC out for yield, using BTC as collateral to borrow other assets, etc. The point is that the eth blockchain isn't just for eth maxis, or BTC haters. You can do things in the eth blockchain that you can't currently do in the BTC blockchain.
@michaelgmcquaid@statusquont@RyanBerckmans Not sure if you were referring to me, but you just restated what I said. The "locking" term is just shorthand for bridging btc into eth. Btc gets locked up in a custodial wallet and a "wrapped" BTC token gets issued in ethereum.
