After two really great weeks of execution on 3rd down and in the red area the Rams are struggling in key areas tonight:
Last 2: 15/24 on 3rd (62.5%)
8/9 RZ TD% (88.8%)
vs. SF: 4/9 on 3rd (44.4%)
0/2 RZ TD%
Maybe this is premature but if Carson Beck can’t play in the CFP. Why shouldn’t Georgia get the 2023 Florida State treatment?
Argument would be the same, if not better given FSU was undefeated, and the precedent has been set

Like the idea from Minnesota too, Nick Mullens isn’t a guy you feel great about running out there if Darnold was to get seriously hurt. They, more than most given recent history, know the importance of QB depth and now have likely the leagues best backup.
Traveling today, so I’m not gonna make a video on the Daniel Jones signing but here’s some brief thoughts
Good fit for Jones, learn from a guy like KOC, a former QB, who’s always gotten great stuff from his QBs and just pulled off a similar project in Darnold.
1/2
People will complain about the call to go for 2 there but 100% the right decision. Risk is always worth the reward when you have the possibility of going up 2 scores and still lead by a TD + xp without it. #BALvsLAC
3. The 1st and 2nd year guys on the D-Line definitely had ups and downs against one of the best lines in the league but the ups were really encouraging, Verse putting Mailata on his ass, even if he did false start, is the physicality I love to see from them
Rough night for Rams
Youth showed up on defense time and time again, open field tackling in the run game was awful and too little attention on AJ Brown in coverage
OL has got to be able to provide time for routes down the field, Stafford under fire way too quickly
Number of things that have me feeling optimistic though
1. Eagles are one of the best teams in the league and really hitting their stride right now
2. WRs are healthy and playing well, can’t block too unfortunately but when Stafford had time Puka and Kupp were getting open
Jameis putting his body on the line, going airborne in the snow for the TD is amazing. Love seeing him get another opportunity and make the most of it

For the 1st time in 51 days a team from Texas will win at AT&T Stadium tonight
Last Texas team to win there was Texas A&M, who beat Arkansas on September 28th
It’s been 324 days since The Cowboys won a regular season game there (December 30th 2023)
