friendly reminder that my first attempt at trading $HYPE during this rally occurred *after* it had already bounced 25%+ off the lows

I clearly recall people telling me I was bottom of the totem pole, exit liquidity, fomoing at the top, etc.

the move was so vertical, I only caught that position with partial size

I missed the second leg entirely, because I was too lazy and unfocused to position (skill issue)

I caught the most recent leg from mid-$30's, and now I get to rejoice in price discovery along with everyone else.

it would've been much easier to sulk about how the market was unkind to me, or that I had missed a trade prior.

lesson in there:

markets are abundant with opportunity, and they provide you everything you need in order to create your own luck.

as a result, you always get exactly what you deserve;

life is not nearly as fair.
