Naoki Hamaguchi says the FF7 Revelation logo colors are a reference to the original logo as fans have pointed out!

He says the blue and green lights around the logo are inspired by the World of FF7 such as Materia and Holy. He says the lights do not represent any particular characters, such as Cloud or Aerith as the interviewer specifically mentioned.

Thank you for stating this. Hopefully they will expand it bc I always felt that the party thought they wouldn’t return from the Northern Crater. I know they seemed confident but it just felt like they thought it was their final moment. Tifa says “this day will never come again…”

The theme being resolve also makes it seem like there is going to be a big emphasis on the moment from the OG when Cloud tells everyone before the final battle to find their reason to fight. That moment is so important but due to everything else going on I feel it gets overlooked
