We all seem to function in the exact same way: We hurt people, and we are hurt by people. We feel left out, envious, not good enough, sick, and tired.
@Substack Dear @Substack , this is an amazing initiative. Could you also bring monetization support to India? Stripe isn’t accessible for many of us without an invite, and even getting one is difficult and often runs into errors.
well, along with being witty, loving, super intelligent (analytically, creatively, existentially and emotionally), cultured, well-read, extremely loyal to his wife and a brilliant actor with amazing script sense, barun sobti also looks like this 🫠

It’s interesting how every post like this is expressly targeted at women, urging them to “choose” a good man, rather than targeted at men urging them to BE good man 🤔
A few years ago at SBI, a bank employee told an old man to go home and get the IFSC code since he hadn’t written it in the form. I googled it for him right there. Still can’t understand why staff at some institutions lack empathy and basic decency.
@likithareddy the only ppl who are passing judgement are those who are either extremely privileged (never gained weight) OR those who can't digest the fact that someone can be this disciplined.
you inspire me a lot. and tomorrow is day 1 again and I often think of your journey too
for those who don't know I have lost over 25+ kgs twice in my life
i am not an intuitive eater so i need to track calories. i am not an intuitive exerciser or whatever so I need to track my minutes, steps, effort
i do not know when I am tired vs lazy. i do not know when i am hungry vs when i am bored.
fwiw I am not in tune with my body and i am glad I can rely on tech to remain a healthy individual
so many people sitting on a high horse telling someone to just "stop obsessing" over numbers
brother the last time i stopped, i got obese, probably on the way to a diabeetus type 2 diagnosis, had PCOD (surprisingly the ovarian cysts disappeared with weightloss)
what i do know is this rant is unwarranted for and is 100% not geared towards well meaning individuals
@Pandaboss45 adhi is not a feminine pronoun, it’s a neuter pronoun. how you apply it to speech matters. why do you use adhi when you have the option of aame? u r literally reducing the woman to an object. its language sexism. pretending its not ignores the social roots of language
@divya_venn 100% agreed!
actually the world is obsessedly leaning towards being type A, and it sure works in careers, sports, and problem solving.
but when you apply it to art relationships, hobbies or other joyful things, you ruin the very thing it was meant for
@divya_venn maybe either Factor 1 people aren’t actually that easy to live with, or my roommate wasn’t one of them. She had all the narcissistic traits though. since I saw it being a part of factor 1, I got curious how you see the line between the two
