Today is the first day of the Federal Reserve’s FOMC meeting. Tomorrow at 2:00 PM, their decision on the Fed Funds rate and policy comments will be released, followed by Chair Powell’s press conference at 2:30 PM.
Markets fully anticipate a 25 bp rate cut built into rates today; however, there is more uncertainty about the future path of Fed Funds rate cuts.
