@stanlee0nX Yeah..
Let me just start my laptop. Take a pic. Make it black and white. Open X. Make a post. Reply every comment for the next few hours.
Very very productive
I am again addicted to solving DSA after the major TUF update 💙
Really love the gamification of coin/streaks.
Thanks to @takeUforward_ , I am back in the game after a long time🔥
Crazy last 5 days for us! 3.5M+ Views, 1M+ users, usage at all time high.
TUF (takeUforward) rolled out a completely new UI/UX. Some people loved it, some didn’t - which is understandable. Existing users are usually the most uncomfortable with a major UI/UX change.
But why did we do it?
For a long time, TUF has been seen primarily as a platform for DSA sheets. We want to move beyond that. Our goal is to make TUF the de-facto platform for interview preparation, and this revamp is the first major step in that direction.
In the UX/UI discussion, people missed important updates like
- free run/submits for all users (unlimited)
- 2000+ aptitude videos
- tufy
- planly (50K+ plans created when I am writing this)
- sheets around patterns, and every subject
- community, interview experiences daily
- gamification
- multiple other things
From an existing user’s perspective, the change might initially feel uncomfortable. But from an organisation and product perspective, this shift was important. We’ve taken all the feedback seriously. Some changes are already live, while others are being worked on and will be rolled out after proper checks:
- A2Z Sheet is back, with more problems.
- Reducing the excessive use of blue - apparently a little too much blue for developers 😛
- A pin option on the Dashboard, so you can access your favourite sheets in one click.
The biggest concern was around UX, and that is completely fair. People were used to accessing popular resources like A2Z in a single click. This is the first major product revamp we’ve done at this scale. Like any major rollout, the first version will have things that can be improved. We are listening, learning, and continuously updating it.
I am confident that once everyone settles into the new experience, people will love this version of TUF even more than the previous one - despite the older version having hundreds of UI/UX issues that we had simply become used to over time.
And one thing for people going after our developers and designers - chill, guys. They are a bunch of young people who are still early in their journeys. It is very easy to sit outside and criticise. It is much harder to sit in the hot seat knowing that something you built is going to be judged by millions of people on Day 1.
It is not as easy as it looks from the outside.
I am extremely proud of the team. They executed a massive rollout, and even as you read this, they are still working through every major piece of feedback and preparing another rollout to address the biggest concerns.
We will keep improving. ❤️
@saketh1998 I know a guy who went from being a vegetable vendor to selling his trading course and made crores from it.
His course is complete bs when I saw his lecture leaked on tg.
He stopped doing it recently. Now owns multiple businesses, bungalows, lands, and living in Dubai now
