[ she feigns shock and turns in a slow circle, rotating on one foot, then the other before dramatically falling to her knees, then onto her side and finally she rolled onto her back—pinning him under her. ]

do you, though?

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

[ he does exactly that, and as soon as he catches up he's launching himself on to her, assuming the jetpack position as he clings to her back. ]

GOTCHA --

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

[ she's laughing and not exactly running as fast or far as her long legs can take her. she's toying with him. ]

hit the gas if you want to keep up!

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

[ giving chase immediately, as fast as his legs can carry him. ]

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

+both of her eyes she would have winked at him. ]

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

[ she lowered the pistol and turned back to him, bowing before offering the weapon back. ]

i don't know about it feeling 'great' exactly, but anything that lets us ghost them fast is a win in my book. shiny acoustic you have there, ghoul.

[ she smirked and when she had+

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

[ he watches, rapt as jet fires the weapon dead on, the metallic cling of the can being hit ringing out - music to his ears. he cheers. ]

fuck yeah! not too bad, right?

[ he's elated from both the payoff of his hard work and the marksmanship he'd come to expect ++

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

+popping sounds and the can rattles in place before toppling off, sun beams going through the holes she left behind.

she lets out a low whistle. ]

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

[ grinning, she slots the magazine back in and stands, taking his now empty can. she pockets the spoon and walks the can to an old fence post with no fence and sets it atop. when she came back, she looked down the sights, rolled her shoulders, and planted her feet.

there's two+

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

wanna see for yourself?

[ wiggles his eyebrows playfully, handing her the rest of the gun to test fire. ]

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

oh, good. so you're the one nesting in party's room.

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

[her brows went up and she leaned in, turning her head so she could get a better look with remaining eye. she plucked the magazine from his hand to turn it this way and that.]

wouldn't expect it to be anything less than dead accurate with your craftsmanship. how's the recoil?

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

[ another proud grin in return. ]

yeah... but look --

[ pulling out the magazine, he reveals what's inside - a row of rusted nails stacked neatly on top of eachother. ]

no bullets required, baby.

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

why is it the same picture twice?

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

[ she beams a little, proud of her contribution to the constant fight against tyranny.

she arches a brow in mild concern as he spins the pistol, half expecting it to go off despite knowing he's skilled with weapon crafting. ]

shiny. have you tested it out yet?

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

fuck yeah.

[ nodding in approval as he scrapes out the last dregs of the meat from the tin before placing it down. ]

I'll show ya.

[ he grabs his rucksack, pulls out a pipe pistol made entirely of scrap, spinning it in his hand by the trigger with a proud smile. ]

[𝕁𝕖𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 @ResilientRecoil]

[ she returns the smile as she draws her knees up, resting her arms over the tops. she squints out at the dying day, the sky pink and purple as the sun sinks. ]

yeah, just a few. brings my count to 6 for this week.

[ casual hair tuck like it's no big deal. ]

you?

[— FUN GHOUL! @GRAFFITIGRAVES]

[ small smile, a little sparkle of warmth in his eyes. he really does appreciate her. he gives her an affectionate nudge. ]

thanks.

[ happily going back to devouring the contents of the tin. ]

so, what'd you do today? dust any dracs? see anything cool?
