“Therapy is not just for when your life is falling apart.”
“Therapy helped me become more intentional about my life.”
“What has helped you grow in your mental health journey?”
Virtual therapy works the same way as in-person sessions, with one key difference: we meet online instead of in a physical space.
You still receive:
Professional, structured support

I have often asked myself, “What leads individuals to commit suicide?” It is essential to recognize that there are often multiple factors that contribute to someone deciding to end their own life.

The information we have about Halima Ngache upto now is that she was presented in court today, Milimani Magistrates Court and the court has granted Kiambu based criminal enterprise three days to detain her in the name of investigations.
We are trying to follow up on which police station is she being taken.

My personal journey with mental health is teaching me this...
Stop personalising everything.
Disagreement doesn't diminish my worth.
Different opinions don't define me.
Less reacting. More reflecting. More growing.
What is your mental health journey teaching you?

AN INNOCENT LIFE CUT SHORT. JUSTICE FOR LAURA WESONGA MUST NOT WAIT
I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of Ms. Laura Wesonga, a KMTC Busia Campus student, who was fatally shot during a police operation in Marachi Estate, Busia Town yesterday evening. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, fellow students, and the people of Busia.
The police have a constitutional duty to protect life. No law enforcement operation should result in the loss of innocent lives. Every operation must be conducted with professionalism, restraint, and full respect for the Constitution.
I therefore call for an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation by @IPOA_KE with any officer found responsible held fully accountable. The @NPSOfficial_KE operations should be intelligence led, professional policing that protects innocent citizens while firmly dealing with crime.
The political temperatures in Busia must cool down immediately. I urge political leaders across Busia and the wider nation to fully embrace democracy. In a democracy, dissent is a right. Not everyone must support you. Using hired goons to intimidate rivals and settle political scores is primitive, illegal, and unacceptable.
#JusticeforLauraWesonga must be swift, transparent, and uncompromising. The people of Busia deserve security, accountability, and respect for the sanctity of human life.
We were very peaceful. Demanding Maxi and Zizou. Demanding the implementation of the constitution of Kenya which seems to have been suspended under William Rutos murderous regime! Wameua kijana mathare 💔#FreeMaxi#FreeZizou
For years, I searched for understanding, acceptance and compassion from others.
Then I realised something life-changing...
It had to begin with me.
That has become one of the most important lessons in my mental health journey.
I matter. And so do you.

The ever great cinematographer Ousmane Sembene captured the event in his film Camp de Thiaroye. I learned about it as a student when I watched the movie.
PRESS STATEMENT BY SENATOR OKIYA OMTATAH ON THE PUBLIC DEBT CASE RULING
Fellow Kenyans,
Today, the High Court delivered an important ruling in our public debt case.
The Court upheld the @IMFNews claim of diplomatic immunity and struck it out of this petition. While we respect the Court’s decision, accountability for Kenya’s debt burden cannot end there.
We are preparing a separate legal challenge to the Bretton Woods Agreements Act, 1963, against the Constitution of Kenya 2010 to ensure all actors involved in Kenya’s debt processes are subjected to proper scrutiny.
Most importantly, the Court rejected attempts by the Attorney General and other respondents to have this case dismissed. The judges ruled that our petition will proceed to a full hearing on its merits.
The Court also dismissed applications by the former Auditor General, former Controller of Budget, the current Auditor General, and the current Controller of Budget seeking to shield themselves from these proceedings.
This is a significant victory for transparency, accountability, and the Kenyan people.
We will amend our petition as directed by the Court and return on 22nd July 2026. Our mission remains unchanged: to establish how Kenya accumulated trillions in public debt, how the funds were utilized , whether the public benefited and whether the law was followed at every stage.
This case is about protecting the future of our nation and the interests of every Kenyan taxpayer.
We remain focused, determined, and committed to seeing it through.
God Bless Kenya.

Today as we marched to Parliament to lay flowers at the site where Kenyan Youth were shot dead, police violently dispersed us a few metres from the precincts of Parliament.
I pulled Rex Masai's mother, who was marching next to me into my vehicle as other mothers and victims found refuge in the few cars on site.
We drove away as police men pursued us.
We were guilty of one thing: peaceful demonstration and picketing as allowed by our Constitution in remembrance of these young heroes.
As a people, we shall not relent until we deliver justice and accountability for the victims.
#Ukombozi is nigh!
Every life lost left behind a grieving family, a traumatized community, and a nation carrying invisible wounds.
The government must recognize that injustice has mental health consequences
We remember
We demand accountability
We demand justice

Rest in peace, Our Heroes.
