If you're a founder and don't know what a Business Operating System is, surprise, you already have one.
I explain it here: https://t.co/SuaZx53R4b

I spoke with 3 founders last week about decision bottlenecks. They all said the same thing.
They were surprised that their team was waiting on them for decisions.
Founder Bottleneck is not intentional. It is inherent when that founder can't physically be a part of everything.
The unintentional rules and behaviors that run a business (aka the Operating System) create a drag on growth at exactly the time when business is poised for growth.
To realize this growth and not implode, the business must make their Operating System intentional by choosing exactly why and where resources will be focused. This gives the team confidence to make forward-moving decisions autonomously, removing founder bottleneck and unlocking scalability.
"Is this the most important thing we should be working on right now?"
I find myself asking founders and leadership teams this question often.
In volatile times, distractions easily become focus.
90% of the time, the answer is no.
It's the "boring" reps that build growth.
Most founder led businesses are not reaching their potential because of lack of effort. They are working hard.
The problem I see most often is that effort is leaking everywhere. Too many priorities. If this feels familiar, you are not alone and there's another way. 💪
Over 15 years, I’ve watched founders apply extraordinary effort and still get lacklustre results.
The problem is rarely effort. It’s misalignment.
I’m formalizing my work around a different approach.
Resonance.
Less force. Better results.
