@arash_tehran@JZarif I genuinely don’t understand why he bothers with writing stuff like this. It’s totally unserious: not even mentioning the name of one of the belligerent parties. And yet somehow it’s also way too conciliatory for the hardliners in Iran enough that they want to arrest him for it.
@websterkaroon All of this for some 400 kg of fissile material and a weird notion of pride that enriching uranium is somehow an unalienable divine right. Just give it up and sign a peace deal already.
@uhshanti My parents and siblings are under these bombs right now. I just talked to them. They’re scared. But they’re also happy and excited and hopeful for a better future. The previous situation was unbearable. Talk to some people who know more before knee jerk reactions.
@MattMahanSJ@TomSteyer Oh man! I was enthusiastically supporting your candidacy for governor, but why in the world would you oppose taxing commercial property fairly? There is no reason a young family like mine should pay a much higher property tax rate than Google does.
@LoveCodeTrade Nearly everyone who wants to go to their neighborhood school can and will in the current system. It’s just that 40% of the seats are either language programs or K-8 and because of that are city-wide. Some people prioritize that over proximity.
@sdamico Makes a ton of sense for low frequency bus routes like 67 or 36. I wish they would ask for a pilot of 15 person mini buses in the routes they can’t currently staff.
@KelseyTuoc My elected city council member is losing her mind over her IG about a cat who might have gotten run over by a Waymo. She’s talking about how Waymo extracts minerals from indigenous communities. It’s a wild world out there.
@LeeHepner The owners think building office is the best ROI they have for this site. I don’t know what the public interest is in blocking them and telling them no actually your best ROI is something else. It’s weird to be this hostile to people who are willing to put a ton of work in SF.
