@Nadia141491@jtrebach Scrubs is one of the most realistic medical TV shows. I would also add elements of Surgical Spirit, The Green Wing and Getting On.
@RespiratoryACPs I am a physiotherapist working as a trainee ACP in Respiratory. My role lies outside of the traditional physiotherapy scope of practice and as such I am looking into what public liability insurance I may need. Does anybody have any advice?

I'm not sure what we have done to deserve this, but today we had 6 physios on Resp High Care @PHUG5RHCU.
From left to right: trainee #ACP, Pulmonary Rehab, COPD Specialist @QAHCopd, 2xNIV Specialists and Student Physio. What a varied life we lead! #respisbest@thecsp#ahp
@mancunianmedic I've been saying this from the start. I understand that strike action has to be balloted by each union, buy why aren't all the nurse, pharmacist and AHP unions getting together as we are all on AfC?
Today I learnt how to do a venesection, a simple but useful procedure that our #respiratory patients have had difficulty accessing due to a lack of trained HCPs. This is exactly why I wanted to train as an #ACP! I get to learn new skills and our patients get better care. Win win!
Our paper on nosocomial transmission of SARS-CoV-2 is finally out!
Huge collaboration across Portsmouth institutions on this with @CovidGenomicsUK! 🦠 🏥

@Keir_Starmer This won't work. We are struggle to train people because of a lack of training places. We aren't retaining staff due to poor working conditions. Also this fails to take into account all the other AHPs and social support staff that are required to ensure safe care.
We see that @SteveBarclay has told @BBCR4today programme he is meeting with doctors later today.
Actually he cancelled the 9am meeting we agreed so he could do media, and a further meeting is not yet agreed.
Hopefully it will be soon.
