WooCommerce 11.0 drops tomorrow.
If you just run a store it's a non-event... you update when you get round to it and carry on. From my side it's a bit different. We've got 7 plugin brands and 29 public facing plugins sitting on top of Woo, so a major core release isn't really "ooh, new features", it's more "right, go test all of it again."
That's the part nobody really sees about running a plugin business. Core sets the pace and everyone building on top of it just absorbs it. Woo ships a version and hundreds of us quietly go re-run everything, making sure the thing someone bought two years ago still works on the version that landed this morning.
Used to feel like a grind. Feels less like one lately... mostly because we put a lot of effort into building automation tests (some brands have 1k+ scenarios)... not breaking things turned out to be part of the moat. Anyone can knock out a plugin in a weekend and the demo looks great. But keeping them working, release after release, for years, without customers ever noticing the joins...
