Congratulations to Darrell Kirby & the City of Bay for receiving the Community of the Year award at the AFMA Conference. Mayor Kirby deserves this award for all the hard work he dedicated to the flood map update process. His work has helped to improve Bays draft floodplain maps.

The dangerous conditions that constituted a serious hazard to Craighead County Arkansas have lessened with the rain that we have received in the last few days. A ban on all such open burning is lifted by the County Judge ED Hill of Craighead County. Arkansas.
