Thinking of Phil Hoffman today on what would have been his 56th birthday. Such a privileged to have worked with him on LONG DAYS JOURNEY (Here w/Vanessa Redgrave) - a harrowing, stunning performance - one of so many. Imagine what the future held for him. Greatly missed.

Last night we saw the astonishing Evelyn Brown (A Diary) by #mariairenefornes at @LaMaMaETC, directed by Alice Regan, designed by two of Irene's longtime collaborators Donald Eastman and Gabriel Berry, starring Ellen Lauren and Violeta Picayo. JUST GO! https://t.co/OLhoX1RzYZ
María Irene Fornés would have turned 93 today. HBD Irene!
