Story time!!

The night we lost to TAMU 74-72 in 7OT, we ended up having to land in New Orleans because Baton Rouge had too much fog. Well, at the time there was no way to communicate with our bus company while we were in the air that we had to divert to a different airport. So we were stranded on the tarmac for about 2 hours until the buses arrived.

Not Governor Edwards. He was off the plane and on his way home about 15 min after we landed. Walked right past every single player as he deplaned.

Enjoyed the perks of wearing a jersey to toss the ball around at practice and flying on the plane with the team, but didn’t have to deal with some of the crappy parts of it.

I know that’s a miniscule thing, but it stuck with me.

While I don’t support Gov. Landry involving himself in the hiring process of the new coach, you hardly have many stones to throw here, sir.
