Active measures. That is how.

We let our guard down after '91, but they never took their foot off the accelerator. Not for a second. Things did not get better. They got worse. Much worse.

Now here we are, with literal Russian assets in government. At the same time, you have good government officials taking advice from Russian assets on social and alt-media, lowering the digital barriers and defences, and letting every influence op and information op from every hostile nation pour straight through.

Come on in! Hit us with the demoralisation, the propaganda, the chaos, the poison. No problems, everything is fine.

And if anyone complains, or wants to stop it, they are suddenly part of the "censorship industrial complex" and accused of "censoring Americans."

So here we are.

The barriers are down. The hostile ops are flooding in. Everyone is at each other's throat, you're being taught to hate your own country, hate your own history, hate everything about your way of life. The totalitarians are now the good guys, head choppers ain't bad, feudalism is great!

Is anyone willing to do a damn thing to stop this madness?
