As part of Black History Month, we’re highlighting leaders who have helped shape our community. William Bernice Lassiter and James Norris were elected as the Town’s first Black commissioners during the 1970s. Norris (2nd from left) became the first Black mayor of Holly Springs.
We’re taking advantage of this dry weather to paint the electric vehicle charging station area beside Town Hall. The station is expected to reopen tomorrow.
Staff also is painting a new charging station area in the downtown parking deck, expected to open in the near future.
The colors of Mardi Gras are purple, green, and gold. Purple stands for justice, green for faith, and gold for power.

Thank YOU to everyone who helped by donating for Toys For Tots . We were able to fill 3 boxes and without the community’s help this couldn’t happen .
