Mette Frederiksen — a Social Democrat, the Danish equivalent of Labour — won elections in 2019, 2022 and is on course to win AGAIN in 2026. Her platform? Stricter borders. Detention. Deportation. A literal goal of "zero asylum seekers." Not Reform UK. Not the Tories. A centre-LEFT leader.

Here's what Denmark actually did under her Social Democrat government:
✅ Declared parts of Syria "safe" to enable deportations back to an active war zone
✅ Outsourced asylum processing outside Europe (yes, just like Rwanda — but they actually did it)
✅ Tightened family reunification laws
✅ Cut welfare benefits for asylum seekers
✅ Seized valuables including jewellery from arrivals to fund processing costs
✅ Maintained Schengen border checks since 2015

The result? 🇩🇰 Denmark: 4 asylum claims per 10,000 people in 2024
95% of rejected claims result in actual removal in Denmark. This isn't theory. It works. And it was done by a centre-left government.

Frederiksen's own words to European leaders: "Many come here to work and contribute. But some do not. And around Europe, we see the consequences — crime, radicalisation, terror. We cannot accept anyone who wants to come here." That's the Danish Prime Minister. A Social Democrat. Speaking at the EU Council presidency. Would saying that in the UK get you called far right?

he UK's own Labour Home Office sent officials to Denmark to study how their system works. So here's the question: If the policy is fine when a European Social Democrat does it — and if Labour is actively studying it — why is anyone in the UK who says the same thing immediately branded as far right? The answer isn't about the policy. It's about who's saying it.

It was an attempted beheading.

No updates on his identity have been released, but he is understood to be a local man from the area. A PSNI spokesperson confirmed: "Police in north Belfast are currently in attendance at Kinnaird Avenue following the report of a stabbing incident shortly after 10.30pm on Monday 8th June. A man has been arrested in relation to the incident and is in police custody while a second man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries." Officers are appealing for witnesses and any dashcam or CCTV footage.

The UK government has become the world's most expensive leaky bucket. There's a well-documented critique of poorly designed DEI and anti-racism training in policing: it can create cognitive biases that cause officers to prioritise perceived social offence over immediate threat and welfare assessment.

Henry Novak, 18, was stabbed and bleeding out on Belmont Road. His attacker made a counter-allegation of racial abuse. Officers handcuffed the dying victim before starting first aid.

This is not just a tragic failure of judgment. It may be a predictable consequence of what forces like Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have been building.

HIOWC runs an extensive 'Inclusion Matters' CPD programme for all officers — independently evaluated for its impact on promoting DEI attitudes and behaviours. It has 500+ anti-racism advocates. It has a dedicated Race Action Plan 2024–2026 with heightened scrutiny on the use of police powers — specifically around race.

When you train officers to see a racial allegation as a priority lens, and then an attacker makes one at a crime scene — what happens to the bleeding victim on the ground?
