So this is because, in one piece, the Gods are kinda treated as spirits. So for eg when u look at Luffy, u are not looking at Nika, u are looking at it as a possession of Nika atm in G5.
Same with rain God, whichever gender the human is, the spirit that's possessed them is a God.
