Great to see Afrikaner leaders from the Solidarity Movement, AfriForum, Solidarity, SAAI, NEASA, and Freedom Front Plus. We discussed how the U.S. government’s focus on the community can contribute to a safer and more prosperous South Africa.
@unclebobmartin@tottinge There's no day-night cycle in space, so batteries also become much less of a concern. Cooling, on the other hand, is genuinely difficult.
White South Africans are truly, legally speaking, the most marginalized minority on the planet.
I challenge you to find anything like this, against any other group, in any other country:
I agree 100% with Dean. We must stand up and fight this fight enough is enough. But I also understand why we don’t.
We have kids in school. Grandmothers in old-age homes. We’re trapped in a dying economy.
And we are afraid. afraid of what we might have to become to win.
Afraid of losing the love we have for this world.
Afraid of the hard choices, of crossing lines we swore we never would, of becoming the monster they already believe us to be.
Because once we stand up, there is no turning back.
Breaking: US State Department raises concerns about the Expropriation Act & abuses against Afrikaners & other minorities (see below). @AfriForum says that without decisive action by @PresidencyZA Ramaphosa against these abuses, the relationship with US cannot be fully restored.
@Lesufi Name-calling is not dialogue, MEC Lesufi.
AfriForum will always engage in good faith where debate is genuine and all voices are respected.
If the only welcome participants are those who agree with you, it’s not a national dialogue it’s a monologue.
Violent crime is rampant in South Africa, but rural attacks—especially on farms—display a distinctly brutal pattern. Local sources reported 296 farm attacks and 49 murders in 2023, and that victims are disproportionately elderly, isolated, and face delayed police response. The South African Police Service reports the number increased to 55 farm murders in 2024. [3/6]
@MbalulaFikile Funny how the ones shouting about loyalty are the ones clinging to power by grasping at straws. The world sees you for what you are, ANC: corrupt, incompetent, intoxicated by your own hubris. a stain on South Africa’s history.
Another major South African company under fire for ‘no whites’ policy
Bidvest has come under fire for its school bursary program, which excludes white children.
