@DirtyEffinHippy@totithoth Its not my responsibility to buy a product i dont want to support a company that made bad business decisions in hope they make something i do want
@PaulTassi I never straight @ but was curious your take if a free week cant even drum interest do you still think sony will give bungie a year to right marathon's ship? Or are we looking at impairment coasts going up every quarter?
@KhaledBedwawi@DestinyBulletn A million signatures translated to confirmed sales would still not move the needle, conservative estimates based on some early d3 pitches put a d3 venture costing 500-700 million, requiring 1000+ devs and taking at least 7 years
@ADR_GuMBaLL@TheEternalSlay2@DestinyBulletn 80k isnt enough to warrant over half a decade development, half a billion dollars and 1000+ developers the game will take, even a million signatures wouldnt be enough
@Im_Plaguee@TheEternalSlay2@DestinyBulletn Bungie is worth almost a billion less than sony paid for it they wont fund half a billion and give them 1000+ developers and 7 years its gonna take to make a D3
@DestinyBulletn 80k doesnt mean a damn thing studio doesnt have the staff, the funding, the time or consumer base left to produce D3 in under a decade, especially with layoffs coming, DCV and ending a story yhey jus started, burned most goodwill players had, destiny didnt die, it was murdered
@vinixkun Careful... im sure firewalk, wildlight and bungie said the same... every project thats ours is the greatest thing until its in customer hands, ND didnt have the resources to maintain live service tempo after launch. Gamers are predictable when content slowed they'd have turned
@markinhoxvi@vinixkun I believe bungie told them the resources that it would take to maintain it as a live service, and based on ND resources, would require the entire studio. No other projects, constantly working on that game to maintain and ship content until it reached end of service
@Gladd Were very unlikely to ever see a destiny 3 for a multitude of reasons.
1. Playstation is running the show and are going to be very, very careful about their investments, concord was a disaster, we know that while marathon may not end up a flop it wont end up a success
@hayasaka_aryan Purple state, blue governor, blue AG, blue city, blue mayor and city council, Blue county officials, blue county court system. You need to do better
@RepJimmyGomez Typical cancel culture that most are against is digging up old social media posts in effort to punish someone for old statements that might no longer reflect who a person is currently. What's happening now is consequences to socially unacceptable behavior in real time
