Today's #ootd is this 1893-4 Liberty & Co dress. Liberty and Co sold dresses in the Arts and Crafts style, which advocated using natural materials and folk techniques, like the smocking seen here. It also heavily referenced Renaissance and Gothic styles. @V_and_A #Fashionhistory
