@TwinzDynamic @ColonelFalcon Here's a photo of the Taito X-01 and both of the controllers which I believe works on all 3 karaoke machines. The game is unrelated, came in the same shipment from Japan when I ordered one.

@TwinzDynamic @ColonelFalcon The Wowow would resurface a few years later as the Taito X-55, the M-88 and X-01 karaoke machines. All of which allowed you to download music and games through a phone line instead of satellite.

The Wowow satellite tech would become the basis for the Satellaview on SNES.

This sexy beast is a #CDi made by LG. And I do mean beast, look at the size of this thing. I'd only seen pictures of it before and had no idea it'd be bigger than an OG Xbox.

Players with auto flip tend to have more issues imo. I trust Pioneer most. Early 80s models are tanks, late 80s are junk. Players towards the end of the 90s can be solid. Sadly, not really anyone out there doing LD repair.

Found this gem on Marketplace for $40. It's an insanely rare controller for a stupidly obscure game system. Plus it gives me yet another excuse to play some Tempest 3000. 😁
