Today, we woke to the sickening scenes of a Sudanese man attempting to behead another man on the streets of Belfast.
In the aftermath, we’ve seen the all-too-familiar damage-control operation from the authorities.
People are being urged not to share the footage or comment on the incident because it may cause division, distress the family, or fuel the “far right”.
In a democratic society, people have the right to share footage of events that take place in public and to discuss why such horrific acts keep happening in our country.

When you see who is behind "Zeteo UK" it's a mix of far left socialists and islamics.
Basically 5 pillars 2.0/Novara media bastard lovechild.
Yeah, blocked.
@JBuckleyMLA@duponline You are the only member on your benches with a backbone.
Oust that weak as water leader you have and be the leader than unionism is calling out for.
No one who warned about illegal immigration and open borders wanted to see what happened last night in North Belfast.
But let me be clear: those in political office, and the media, who dismissed us and labelled us “racist” and “far-right”, have nowhere to hide.
🚨Whoever said, “violence is never the answer” didn’t have his eyes gouged out and his throat slashed by a Sudanese migrant.
I certainly am not calling for violence but historically that phrase is woefully inaccurate.
There have been plenty of times in history where violence was required to liberate a people.
The United States is a prime example of that.
Britain will over the coming months endure the biggest rise in unemployment of any major advanced economy.
That was the conclusion of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) last week, when it warned that UK joblessness will soar from 4.8pc last year to 5.5pc by the end of 2026.
When Labour took office in July 2024, unemployment was just 4.1pc. But the number of payrolled employees has since fallen in fourteen of the twenty-one subsequent months to April – with around 1.81 million now unemployed.
It is unusual, when the population is rising, for the number of payrolled jobs across the economy to fall.
But that pattern has been broken under Labour.

Ele deu risada. E marcou o encontro.
Chegou lá — e encontrou a mãe.
Sete dias sem dormir. Conhecia o homem há 20 anos. Viu a filha crescer.
Ela bateu nele.
ANDY BURNHAM was confronted by a Makerfield resident whilst he was out canvassing
He was asked about his lack of support for a rape gang inquiry
Surprise surprise he walked away.... just like he always does 😡
Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has now received his 27th Community Note on X for misleading the British public.
27 times.
This is the man we are told to trust with our country, our borders, our children, and our future.
He lies so frequently that even X’s crowd-sourced fact-checking system cannot keep up.
No wonder he wants this platform banned. X is the only place left where the British people can hold their leaders to account in real time.
The establishment hates free speech because it exposes their lies.
Starmer should not be suspended.
He should be removed from office.
27 Community Notes. One Prime Minister. Zero credibility.
If a migrant comes to our country and attempts to saw a man's head off in the street, a Restore Britain Government will not deport.
With the British people's approval, that savage will be put to death.
But that is not enough - these atrocities will keep happening. The barbarians are already inside the gates.
Immigration will end from countries that are proven to supply us with these monsters.
Third world migrants who hate our way of life will be removed from our country. Restore Britain will deport millions.
I have had enough. The British people have had enough.
We do not have to live like this - there is another way.
Death penalty, mass deportations, end mass immigration.
That is what Restore Britain will do.
I have long advocated for this.
"A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they know they shall never sit."
There is an identical Chinese proverb: 前人栽树,后人乘凉 - "Predecessors plant trees; descendants enjoy shade."
The essence of a civilisation.
