@simonwatts17 @StonedNerd314 The enslaved may consider them evil, but the enslavers would consider they are doing the right thing. Good/Evil is just perspective and usually decided by whoever won the war, after all that is who writes history.
Snaaker Adventures is coming soon. In the polishing and tweaking phase now. Currently working on making the backgrounds look nice. #screenshotsaturday#IndieGameDev
Just had the first piece of music created for my new game by juicetea over at fiverr.
She knocked it out of the park and I am ordering the rest of the game's music from her. If your looking for custom game music check out the link - https://t.co/CCiYpj6odT
@CGarageCoder@OverheadGames Hi, I've seen your posts on this and went through this myself. Instead of keys they could sell on I sent them through the steam program. No reviews. You can keep your hope alive, but I wouldn't bother. If genuine they will review through the creator program or buy the game.
New update for Snaaker & Friends to the latest Stride engine version and also massively tweaked the achievements. Get it on Steam now - https://t.co/jTpwZ1pwML
@jeremy_bla86631@balancedoutt@Asmongold@unity As Stride follows C# design guidelines, it makes more sense as a C# (outside of games) programmer. EPIC and Unity are companies and Stride is open source. Of course there are more resources from the companies making money out of you using the engine, it's in their interest. 2/2
@jeremy_bla86631@balancedoutt@Asmongold@unity Stride has it's drawbacks like any Engine. I switched to Stride (Xenko) from Unity in around 2015/16. It was hard and hurt like hell. I had to switch my procedural model system from Right to Left handed. Stride is a programmers engine, and will never be as easy as Unity. 1/2
@Nicky7282 @McQueecraft @balancedoutt@HappyFarang@Asmongold@unity I think you misunderstood me, they are continously updating the engine and have made multiple releases this year. They only change the big numbers when something significant happens. 4.0 was .Net5 support - 4.1 was .Net6 + C#10 - 4.2 will be the move to .Net8 etc.
@Nicky7282 @McQueecraft @balancedoutt@HappyFarang@Asmongold@unity Strides last update was about 3 days ago. Updated to 4.1.0.1898. They have posted multiple updates this year. Are you confused as on the splash screen it only advertises the major point releases - 4.1 being the last?
@jeremy_bla86631@balancedoutt@Asmongold@unity I have used XNA, Unity, Godot & Stride C# engines, as well as a few other engines using LUA script. Every engine is different. Stride follows C# language and programming guidelines, and as it is all C# and open source, you can always add to the engine yourself.
@jeremy_bla86631@balancedoutt@Asmongold@unity Hi Jeremy, no two game engines are the same, none have the exact same feature set. Your expectation of easily porting is unrealistic in general, disregarding Unity/Stride. You have to adapt if you want to change, or you can pay Unity. 1/2
@balancedoutt@Asmongold@unity I use https://t.co/vYbske8tRV - It is built in C# including the engine, and is open source. You don't pay anything to them ever. Unity is far from the best option for small indie devs. Hasn't been for years.
