@MidlifeCrysis_ Tough to pick but I would have to choose between Super Mario World, Zelda, or Final Fantasy III. Easily the best console and there are just too many gems to pick one.
@tigheklory I notice on mine, the MK1 slot is specifically labeled Y-Unit. My MK1 board is a Y-Unit but if your board was a T-Unit then that may have been your problem. If that's the case then i'd make a custom harness and use the "Other" slot.
@StuffILike83 If you look close at the board, on the top is the cabinet harness and starting at the bottom you have MK1, MK2, UMK3, MK4, and one other.
@StuffILike83 One kick harness goes to the buttons in the cabinet. Each board has it's own slot on the condenser. Each game has a different harness pinout. The condenser converts each to the same layout that is going to the cabinet, so no matter which game you run, its correct.
Also picked up some adapters for the funky connectors the use on the Unico monitors and another RPiJamma, same as the one I have. Got it used at half price and he said it was never used. Looks like it never came out of the box. Lot to work on now.
Quite the mail call this week. A Unico 19” Arcade LCD to use while I’m fixing 3 monitors that are down. Also a beautiful working Frontline PCB to use with my taito multi board. Marquee bulbs, a black light bulb, switching power supply + midway adapter for Space Invaders.
Little more work this morning. Went with a SDArcade style layout and made a Daphne category. Found the video snaps and for the most part, the Daphne portion is done. I’ll mess with other games but when it goes in my DL cab it will only be laserdisc games.
@tigheklory Did you have to do a composite sync mod on your Mr. Do by any chance? It wont sync for me yet other games sync fine. Looks like I might have to do a composite sync mod and then hook it to the negative h-sync. Any experience with it? I am using a WG4900.
@tigheklory I don't know any thing about that one you bought. This is the one I have from High Score Saves. I bought it when it first released around 2019 I think. This one converts HDMI and Sound to RGB and Analog sounds across the Jamma at 15hz.

Fun with Raspberry Pi! I installed Retropie on a Pi3 B+ and am running Daphne. Have a Rpi Jamma adapter to convert it to 15hz and connect to a Jamma harness in an arcade cabinet.
Time to restore my Dragons Lair 2 cabinet!

Some quick vertical and horizontal adjustments and we were in business. It coined up and I played a game. No sound yet. About 5 mins in the screen collapsed and after cycling power I no longer have monitor glow. This is where im at now.😢
Drilled out the locks and got both back panels open. This is what I found first thing. Board wasn't secured and was just flopping around in there. The interlock was off so I checked all the connectors, flipped on the interlock and we had power!
I haven't shared this yet but the kids and I have decided after almost a decade out of the hobby, it's time to get back to the arcade. Garage is getting gutted this summer and it will become the new permanent arcade. This is my first pickup in years. Excited. #arcade#retro
