@profmdwhite One could say the same thing about other famous duos, like Iron Man and Whiplash, Captain America and Red Skull, Thor and Loki, and Hawkeye and Trickshot.
They'd never admit it to each other, but they mean a lot to each other, you could say.

Philosophical Question:
Since the Avengers and Ultron ultimately give each other meaning and purpose in life by constantly battling, in the end shouldn't they be grateful to be stuck in such an endless cycle? ๐ค
@profmdwhite Think about it.
If the Average never got in Ultron's way and he just conquered everything just like that, even an efficient AI like him would get bored. You could argue it works the other way around, too. In the end, the Average learn a lesson from Ultron, to an extent.
