Elon Musk just gave $44 billion dollars to the former owners of Twitter that they can now use to end hunger, disease, poverty, war, and injustice.
Which they will do first?
It’s so awesome to know that the Musk family is taking interest in the things we do in Brownsville. Couldn’t believe to see Kimbal at an event for our community gardens. Even was able to show him some photos of our historic area of La Posada.
We designated the week of October 4-10, 2021 as Space Week and October 9, 2021 as Astronomy Day in the city of Brownsville!
There are a lot of exciting things happening down here in our corner of the cosmos, and we are beyond excited to continue sharing it with our community.
“Earth is a durable, absorbent, self-correcting, life-supporting place that has its own problems. But we make matters infinitely worse through poor stewardship. We need to take a longer-term view of the environment & try to make things better wherever we can.”
