In the Looney Tunes short, “See Ya Later Gladiator” (1968), there are two shots that aren’t animated by anybody who is credited, as of rn I have no idea who could’ve done these, if anyone could help me out, that would be wonderful!
Preferred the original idea of Tattertown where it was just Van Beuren, Ub Iwerks, Harman-Ising characters hanging out with newer styled characters (Oswald and Farmer Al Falfa were thought of too), You kinda see that with the Oswald, Faux-Flip, Bosko and Honey cameos
@SThebulbmin Mark is such a great guy and a wonderful artist, I hope to see his films put out at some point. If I may ask, where did you find a piece of the boards to Some Other Cat?
❗️This is NOT Esther Jones❗️
This is a photo of a random black woman taken in 1930 by black photographer, James Van Der Zee.
We reached out to the museum holding his images for confirmation.

I'm glad the Tear your arms bit was trimmed down cuz I personally think that it's overanimated in the work print and uses unnecessary time. The final edit is a much more impactful scene. The animation flows much better and isn't using any extra frames that aren't needed.
Thankfully after I met @BlinkyEnjoyer, he gave me a 1v1 font text for recreations like this. Thankfully the newer one looks so much better and more accurate, unlike the old one you see here on the og tweet.
I did these a LONG time ago before I knew what I was doing. I was just getting to archiving as much digital Felix Material that I could for my own personal collection at the time and I would recreate the OG release titles. This one is extremely outdated.
@BlinkyEnjoyer@SThebulbmin I've also noticed with a lot of "Rubberhose" artist is that their poses are pretty stiff a lot of the time. I'm gonna reiterate, it's not a horrible thing but they say that they are Rubberhose artist, but what I'm seeing is basic poses and nothing truly Rubbery or new
@BlinkyEnjoyer@SThebulbmin Something I'm REAL tired of is the reusing and almost tracing of the Ub Iwerks and H&I promotional art. I'm so tired of seeing people drawing those same poses. I don't mind drawing preexisting poses and reusing old poses but Jesus. It's not that hard to draw an original pose.
@BlinkyEnjoyer@SThebulbmin It's hard to find artist (especially Rubberhose Artist) that are inspired by anything else that isn't Disney after Oswald and H&I. There ain't no problem in drawing and being inspired by those artist and such. I've just seen it so much these past few years. It's cool but strange
