@JWMediaDC The boon of having Notre Dame’s Olympic sports, having them play your conference members in football, adding another vested seat for your conference at the power table, & potentially securing their full-membership should be well worth affording them independence in football now.
Shark Tank Billionaire Kevin O'leary says 2 people fighting data centers in Utah are Chinese agents. Turns out its just 2 local girls in Utah, they make a hilarious video calling him the fuck out
BREAKING: Stunning new polling reveals that Donald Trump’s approval rating on handling the economy is the lowest of any President in American history at this point in their term. Make sure every American sees this.
Rep. Jason Crow on the president warning Americans could die: "How amazing of Donald Trump to say, you know, that often happens in war. And that's a cost he's willing to take. Great for him. It's not his kids. It's not his family. It's not his billionaire donors who are having to go off and do it."
All but 3 schools would benefit from this Pac-12/MWC merger concept: Full shares = ORST, WAST, BST, UTST, COST, FRST, SDST. Half shares = NM, WY, NV, HI (football only). Loses MWC bonus $ = UNLV to Pac-12 (full shares) & USAFA to AAC. Out = SJST to ?
@TonyOnly_ That's a valid point. Although it seems inevitable, will the cost of separating be too much? There is only so much media money to go around out west, but a smaller Pac-12 would likely garner more exposure.
@BattleCattleFan A merger would eliminate a competing conference, likely equating to a better media deal & more $. I do respect your perspective & recognize that the Pac-12 is attempting to separate itself moving forward, but will the cost of doing so be too steep?
Although college football drives realignment, I'm interested to see if the addition of Gonzaga to the Pac-12 will change the narrative. Are AAC members back on the table? Would the 3 midwest members of the A-10 be interested in joining?
Without the AAC schools coming over, the Pac-12 should take 9 of the 12 MWC schools. In turn, that would dissolve the MWC, which means the Pac-12 could keep their $.
Gonzaga is a great addition to the Pac-12! That said, they still need at least one more FBS school by the time the 2026 season rolls around. I still believe that Texas St. is the best option, but if not them, then who? Remember, that school will likely need a travel partner.
