Rex leans closer to her as she rests her head on his shoulder, kissing her forehead. He wraps his arm around her shoulder, feeling her arm around his waist.

Mai sighs happily and leans in, resting her head against Rex's shoulder as she closes her eyes, smiling. Her arms loop around his waist loosely as he speaks, her heart hanging on every word he says.

Rex looks back at Mai with love in his eyes. He is head over heels in love with her. His heart beat for her and it feels like he has butterflies flapping around in his chest.
“Mai, you are the most gorgeous, and prettiest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.”
Mai tilts her head slightly as she looks at Rex, nothing but love in her eyes. She's clearly absolutely head over heels for him. Even now as she looks at him, her heart does a little flip in her chest.
"You're the most beautiful, handsome thing I've ever seen in my life."
He sits down next to her after they get their ice cream, Rex chuckles as Mai taps his nose with the ice cream and blushes as she kisses the corner of his lips. He joins her as she laughs soft.
“Don’t be. And you’re so beautiful, babe.”
Once they get their ice cream and sit down, Mai playfully taps Rex's nose with the cold dessert before kissing the corner of his lips. When she pulls back, she hums a soft laugh.
"I'm sorry.. you're just too cute, babe."
“Yes! Maybe but you’re better!”
He smiles and locks his fingers with hers as they walk to the ice cream stand. She made him feel so happy and loved.
"Really? You're the best!"
She smiles widely at his answer, happy that he agreed. She pulls away from him and takes his hand in her own, gently pulling him towards the nearby ice cream stand, nearly skipping. He makes her feel like a little girl again in the best way.
“Hmm?”
He looks at her and continues to blush as her fingers are still running through his hair.
“An ice cream date is a great idea. I’m up for that.”
"Hmm.."
She tilts her head slightly and thinks about the options they have, as there are so many. All the while, her fingers are still slowly running through his hair. She loves holding and touching him.
"We should go on an ice cream date."
He continues kissing her deeply, pressing his forehead gently against hers and whispers against her lips.
“Anything you want, babe.”
He says while blushing as she plays with his hair and smiles sweetly at her. He is up for whatever she wants to do.
She continues kissing him deeply for a moment before pulling back just enough to press her forehead to his and whisper against his lips, not ready to properly pull away just yet.
"What would you like to do today, Hun?"
She absentmindedly plays with his hair as she speaks.
“My lovely Mai…”
Rex moans softly against her lips, rubbing his tongue against hers, and wraps his arms around her neck as he feels her hands on his hips. She is making him feel loved and wanted.
"Oh.. my Rex.."
Mai moans softly against his lips before slowly slipping her tongue into his mouth, then slowly moving it against Rex's tongue, her hands sliding down to hold his hips lightly. When's the last time she felt so loved and wanted? Even she doesn't know.
Rex smiles back, kissing her back gently.
“I love you more than anything.”
He whispers back against her lips, deepening the kiss and closing his eyes as he feels her tongue touching his bottom lip. He then opens his mouth for her tongue.
Mai smiles at his words and exhales a shaky breath from emotion as she leans in to kiss Rex's lips softly.
"I love you.. more than words."
She whispers against his lips before continuing the kiss, deepening it bit by gently touching his bottom lip with her tongue, wanting more.
Rex smiles as he gazes into her eyes, blushing again as she kisses the tip of his nose and gently rubs his nose against hers.
“Same with you. I love you for who you are, Mai. I’m happy that you feel comfortable around me to be yourself.”
Mai pulls back just enough to look into Rex's eyes and lets out a soft, happy giggle as she leans back in to kiss the tip of his nose before rubbing them together, eskimo-kiss style.
"I feel so at ease with you. Like I can just be myself without expectations. You're my home."
Rex smiles at her as she speaks and looks into her eyes with his arms around her waist.
“I couldn’t imagine life without you. You make me a better guy and push me to be the best version of myself.”
As Rex speaks, Mai exhales a shaky breath full of emotion, his words hitting her hard in the best way possible. She's actually found something real, something worth fighting for.
"I don't know what I'd do without you now that I have you. You make me a better woman, Hun.."
Rex continues to hold Mai in his arms, melting against her.
“I didn't either until I met you. You taught me that there's more to life than just dueling. What I found was someone who shares my passion for the game, inspires me to be better, and means far more to me than winning.”
Mai absolutely melts against Rex as he reassures her, feeling completely at home in his arms.
"I didn't know I was missing anything until I met you.."
“You’re absolutely perfect for me.”
He says against her hips, hugging Mai back tightly. He wanted to assure her that she is enough for him and how much he really loves her.
"I hope I'm always enough for you."
She murmurs against his lips as she hugs rex tightly, a hint of insecurity seeping into her words. Despite all her outer confidence, Mai secretly worries a lot.
