@TheUman23 The key to any good stadium financing campaign is to assign blame to gov. Get the public angry at politicians; drive up the price for entitlement-compensation, thus owner winning.
@DMVAdventures@B1GDuckEnergyy Stubhub or SeatGeek are easy. Wait till day of game for best prices, especially if you need only one or two seats. There are no bad sight lines in Autzen.
@Tacky3663_ Blaming the gov is exactly what the powers in charge want you to do. The more people rally against politicians, the more they will give the MacCaskey family.
It is simply untrue that stadiums generate "a massive amount of economic activity." NFL teams host only as many customers in a year as an average-sized American supermarket does (~700,000). In reality, stadiums spend almost their entire lives dark, empty & silent.
I hope people in Tampa are paying attention to what’s happening in Vegas.
One of the biggest corporations in gaming has been unable to finance a $1.2B development adjacent to the new MLB stadium.
Tampa, meanwhile, is just taking the Rays’ word that they can raise $10B???
