this might be different for eternus but the game is actively punishing me if i play new characters. if i play a game on someone i have less games on and lose, ill immediately derank a full rank. if i lose again, ill derank again. i feel like if i care about my rank at all im forced to play the same few characters and im deterred from trying someone new or trying to play and have fun unless i make an alt account. just kinda sucks and im getting bored of playing the same stuff

Fable NPC system is so sophisticated the devs are calling it a "life simulator"

You build reputation through your actions in the game, then each NPC has a different opinion of you based on your reputation.

You might have to become a rich business owner to impress and date one of the NPCs in the game, but another NPC will hate you for being so rich. As a consequence, that NPC could increase the prices on their merchandise when you visit their store.

Even small actions such as giving money to the homeless or evicting people out of their houses will impact your reputation, and this can be done at a very large scale, because you could:

- Buy every home in the world of Fable
- Evict everyone out of their homes
- Have every NPC now live on the street

Possibilities are quite literally endless here

The current meta is revealing just how much a disparity there is in the skills at certain ranks.

Oracle to ASC 1 is filled with players who have been placed in a higher rank then their skill level, (including myself,) and game's are often snowballed out of control by min 10.

Bit of a long rant here but Volpe Derangement Syndrome is the most lucrative, unpatched method of revenue on Yankee twitter.

I'll always respect guys like Jomboy for not only growing the game but building such a successful business; there's an undeniable, profitable desire for Jomboy Media content — otherwise he wouldn't be as successful. Hell, I was one of his first subscribers years and years ago and I still enjoy a good bit of content that comes from their company.

But when the TalkinYanks admin gets on a burner and calls everyone that critiques the TalkinYanks posts worthless and directly admits posts are made for clicks over truth/honesty, it's easy to see why they drive home such an animalistic, deranged, non-baseball related hatred for one of their own young players — struggling or not.

You can see below what gets the clicks and what drives home the engagement. And I said before, it's admirable how successful they are at building this media brand up, gauging the "market" for what type of content there is a thirst for, and playing into it. And they know the biggest fanbase in baseball's got a sweet ole human punching bag, cash cow.

I think it's awesome Yankee fans basically have access to Boone's ear through Jomboy and really cool on Boone's part to lend himself to do that once a week. But I find it lubricious guys with direct access to the manager, who regularly interact with the players, are so shameless and lackadaisical about using said manager's young player as a cash cow punching bag.

And that's not to say he shouldn't be critiqued; he's been an enormous let down from his prospect status and definitely deserves his fair share of criticism. But I feel there should be both an obligation when you are 1) employed by YES 2) have access to the players/manager's ear and 3) run the biggest Yankee media outlet on twitter, to at least do so in a way that isn't shamelessly click baity.

Man I love Deadlock but I think this patch is probably one of the worst the game has had in its lifecycle. I really hope this isn't the meta moving forward because this is complete dogshit to play at lower ranks.
