Got up at 0500, drove 818 miles in a little over 11 hours just to get home and have the Hogs and Thunder get beat. Colorado was awesome, on to the next one in less than 2 weeks. North again.
Time for a little talk with my beloved Hog fans about tomorrow's game:
For weeks, I have seen you all arguing with bracketologists about Arkansas being projected lower than Vanderbilt. The metrics and data points that are used by the committee reflect that the VU > ARK projection is a valid one.
I think Arkansas beating Vandy with such ease in BWA has caused an inaccurate view of the team they are.
I am afraid many are entering tomorrow thinking we have the whole thing wrapped up already.
That is foolish. Vanderbilt is playing really, really well. They can score it with anyone and we all know how we struggle defensively.
Yes, we are thrilled to play them instead of Florida, but expecting a smooth win is probably optimistic.
It will be tough, but would we want it any other way?
Fayetteville>Pea Ridge>Little Rock>Lowell>Pea Ridge>Fayetteville. All in 10 hours. Hauling a car and a side by side for a friend. Long day
