📍 Today was an amazing event speaking to Students. I had the pleasure of accompanying the Speaker of Council, on behalf of the Multiparty women’s Caucus. ✔️@CityTshwane
This is our ActionSA caucus in parliament. This team has quickly shown that we are a constructive opposition and our contribution here is a testimony to this. We are dispassionate, non parochial and consistent with no equivocation @HermanMashaba

📹 WATCH: "When you professionalise the public service, you must ensure that people are full-time public servants."
Our Member of Parliament @DrKgosiLetlape takes part in Parliament’s Budget Vote Debate on Public Service and Administration.
He highlights the need for the government to eliminate ghost employees, and prioritise insourcing at all levels of government - where feasible - to improve the functioning of the state.
A very warm welcome to our newly appointed National Youth Forum Secretary, Boitumelo Molefe.
Boitumelo previously served as the National SG of the YAC, which is now Youth Forum.

President Cyril Ramaphosa’s expanded cabinet will cost South Africans over R1 BILLION per year - R180 MILLION for salaries
https://t.co/hbrgWc64Zm
President Ramaphosa’s cabinet, with compromised and corruption-accused individuals remaining as ministers, is a bad first impression of this new grand coalition government.
Contrary to his past commitments to significantly reduce the size of the cabinet, President Ramaphosa has instead expanded the cabinet with the appointment of 32 Ministers and 43 Deputy Ministers.
The new members of the executive will collectively cost you, the taxpayer, over R1 billion annually in benefits and perks, with over R180 million allocated to salaries of ministers and deputy ministers alone.
Today signifies a significant day in our painful history, particularly as young people; not only should we commemorate this day we must use it to reflect on our state of affairs as young people of this generation.
📹 WATCH: ActionSA Parliamentary Caucus Leader @AtholT delivering his remarks at the inaugural sitting of the 7th Parliament.
As an opposition party, ActionSA in Parliament will not oppose for the sake of opposing, but will be a constructive opposition that supports proposals that take South Africa forward while rejecting those that do not.
I’m honoured to be here at the North West Provincial Legislature as an MPL. @Action4SA is clear on its mandate that we must fight for the rights of the people of this province who voted for us. I will use my position to ensure that there is accountability & oversight work done.
ActionSA Students Chapter congratulates our party representatives following their swearing-in ceremony into parliament. We wish them all the best.

ActionSA will not support candidates put forward by the ANC-DA coalition without prior consultation.
Insourcing, infrastructure development and security remain key issues that ActionSA will seek to drive through Provincial Legislature.
