I agree that we should enforce the second amendment and train all citizens how to use them. I think this would create a much healthier state. Isn't Israel like this? They are surrounded by enemies and so they have most of their citizens armed and military trained, including women.

I think America needs to go back to having militias where everyone is well trained and well armed. I'm not saying to abolish the standing army right away, that will be up for debate (even though the founding fathers were completely against standing armies) and let the militas grow until they are strong enough to replace the standing armies. But I am open to better suggestions on that last part because I don't know the full details on how to fully replace our current overseas bases and such with militias, but I'm sure we can figure something out.
